Benny is from a story/videogame idea I had years ago. Essentially, Benny and his boyfriend August lived a pretty mundane existence until August suffered a severe accident at his workplace, leaving him crippled. When his job pins the negligence on August, Benny sells his soul to the devil in an attempt to gain the power he needs to take revenge. The idea was never too baked beyond this, and I flipped between August getting injured or coming down with an illness that would leave the couple desperate for funds. At some point Benny was going to become an underground criminal rockstar, losing sight of why he originally wanted revenge, and allows the thrill of greed and excess to overtake him. If you can tell, I have a thing for tragic heroes.
